1/43 BAR Honda 006 J. Button 1st POLE POSITION

This is the 006, the machine BAR introduced in 2004.
The designer was Geoff Willis, who also designed the previous year's car.

The season, which saw a change of tire supplier from Bridgestone to Michelin, was dominated by Ferrari. However, J. Button achieved a remarkable 10 podium finishes, including four 2nd-place finishes, and finished 3rd in the Drivers' Championship. The team also finished 2nd in the Constructors' Championship, marking their best result since the team's inception, and a season of great strides.

This is a valuable model of the car J. Button drove when he secured his, and the team's, first-ever pole position at the San Marino Grand Prix, Round 4.

The item has been carefully stored at home, but being old, there are some minor signs of aging, such as scratches on the case and yellowing of the base. The car itself appears to be in good condition.
