This pristine 2013 5-Star Generals Commemorative Proof Silver Dollar coin features two of America's illustrious Five-Star Generals, George C. Marshall and Dwight D. Eisenhower. It was issued by the U.S. Mint to honor five-star generals who attended or taught at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College for the 132nd anniversary of the college at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas.
The coin is made of 90% silver and 10% copper, with a fineness of 0.900. It has a diameter of 38.1 millimeters and a weight of 26.73 grams. The obverse (front) features portraits of Marshall and Eisenhower with a 5-star insignia above their heads. The reverse (back) features the Leavenworth Lamp with the heraldic crest of Fort Leavenworth on its side.
