This ceramic pitcher is an example of traditional Tonalá folk art from Jalisco, featuring the region’s distinctive flora and fauna motifs and characteristic color palette. Rooted in pre-Columbian traditions, Tonalá pottery is highly valued by collectors for its cultural authenticity, artistic quality, and representation of indigenous Mexican art.
There is a small chip on the spout, and chip on the base and a few imperfections. Vase is approx 13.5" tall, 4" deep, 11" wide. The base is approx 4.5".
