Antique Vintage Crown Devon Fieldings butter or cheese dish.

This is an antique vintage Crown Devon Fieldings porcelain butter or cheese dish, often referred to as a "blush-ware" dish. It features a decorative floral pattern and gilt accents. It has the clear Crown Devon Fielding, Stoke on Trent, and also Windsor marking on the back of the dish cover. It also has indentation stamps of what appears to read the number 100, the number 2, and the letter K on the dish plate itself. Crown Devon, also known as S. Fielding & Co, was a prominent pottery manufacturer based in Stoke on Trent, England, known for its quality porcelain and collectible items. The condition is good, with what appears to be an accidental single gilt paint stroke on the top left side of the dish lid as can be seen in the photographs. There is slight crazing to the lid commensurate with age. The dish total height is 11 cm, width is 14.5 cm, and length is 18 cm.
