Original French Single Record
Following the breakup of the first incarnation of The Animals, who, like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, were a major part of the British Invasion, Eric Burdon formed this version of The Animals in 1967. This is a wonderful song typical of the era, with less R&B influence and a psychedelic feel. Of course, all the members are British. Later, Andy Summers, who would go on to be in The Police, would join the band, but he is not on this song.
Like the Japanese single, this is a monaural pressing, but it has more sound pressure than the Japanese version, and the sound quality is clearer.
The jacket has some age-related soiling, but there are no tears or splits.
The record has no major scratches, and while there is some surface noise on both sides, it's at a level that allows for normal listening.
