This is a compilation of over 20 years of activities by Hyōichi Munakata, who was captivated by the sawa of the Asahi Mountain Range, and the Shōyō Keiryōkai. Detailed records of ascents of over 110 sawa in the Akagawa, Mogami River, Arakawa, and Mikame River water systems are compiled.
Published in 2006 as a 25th-anniversary commemorative edition, it is now out of print and a very difficult book to obtain. Recommended for sawa-nobori enthusiasts.
