This unique pitcher was made in Italy for Prince Spaghetti in the late 1940's. This was a prize given
at a Prince-sponsored live radio show in Boston in the late 1940's.
It’s hand-painted in vivid colors with reddish brown grapes and green grape leaves and a dark
turquoise hand-painted trim.
Distinctive majolica style consisting of an opaque white tin glaze and brightly colored over glaze designs that tend to remain crisp for hundreds of years, and the pin hole pricks that were from the instrument used when glazing the pitcher.
There are hand-painted slogans on it.
