I have never washed her hair nor restyled it from out of the box, only lightly brushed. Her headband no longer has the elastic securing the tops to around her head, due to the age of doll. Note: (headband has always been in 2 pieces). Her bangs are still slightly crunchy as well. The clear elastic shoulder straps on the bodysuit are also gone due to disintegrating due to age.
