This is a beautiful and authentic piece of Pink Depression Glass in the iconic Manhattan pattern, produced by Anchor Hocking in the late 1930s and early 1940s.

This pattern is a fantastic example of the Art Deco style popular during the era, with its geometric lines and emphasis on form. The distinctive feature is the series of concentric, sharp horizontal ribs that circle the bowl and the domed lid. The lid is topped with an elegant, faceted glass knob. The bowl features two graceful, ribbed handles.

This piece, sometimes referred to as a covered sugar bowl or candy jar, would make a lovely addition to any Depression Glass collection, Art Deco display, or vintage kitchen.

Condition - PLEASE NOTE

As a vintage item from the Depression Era, it shows normal signs of age such as straw marks and bubbles in the glass, which are typical of the manufacturing process.
