(#RB17) RARE "Vintage Black Uncle Sam's DIME Register Bank
There are two types of Uncle Sam's nickel and dime banks. One locks until $5 is reached before opening and one locks until $10 is reached before opening. You can tell which one is which by the words "amount deposited" on the front of the register above the counter display. The $5 banks have the words
"amount
deposited"
one word on top of the other. The $10 banks have the words "amount deposited" displayed in one line, side by side. This one for sale is the $5 Dime bank.
First dime deposited locks the bank until $5 is reached, then the bottom door will push open, allowing you to retrieve your change. EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION!!!
