This is a very unique, rare square bone china table lighter from the 1940'w. This square lighter is hand painted - and there are no markings underneath to identify. Similar flowers to the Royal PAG lighters that I have seen but I cannot see any markings on the lighter. Lighter is a gold tone and sits in gold tone holder. The only flowers are on one side - one purple and one small pink flower with leaves. The lighter has JAPAN printed only on the lighter underside. There are no cracks, chips or marks on this item. Size is 3 inches in height, about 2 3/4 inches across - square! I purchased at an estate sale in Memphis, TN.
