This set of four prints were the most popular of an album of 32 subjects . Fuertes (1874-1927) accompanied The Field Museum -Chicago Daily News Abyssinian Expedition in 1926 and produced these paintings.
Fuertes was a renowned ornithologist and artist loved for his detailed and lifelike bird illustrations. His work is highly regarded for its scientific accuracy and artistic quality.
These would look stunning framed! There is no fading because they have been stored in the shipping cardboard, although there are some minor waves in the prints that a professional could make disappear in the framing process.
