Charming piece of Americana Nostalgia!! Such a fun and unique conversation piece...a rare find in this condition!
Excellent Condition for its vintage age. Winder key on bottom works and box plays the tune "The Ballad of Davy Crocket." Last picture shows small nick or scratch in wood of about 1/4" on edge of lid - near back of box & some of the wording on bottom of box is faded. Otherwise no noted flaws. Even his clothes are in great shape. The faux fur and coonskin cap is exquisite & his porcelain bisque face has no flaws. The fringe on his jacket is a bit curled.
