Pair of vintage mid-century folk art figures, handmade from papier mâché, clay, and resin-hardened cloth. Likely Italian or Spanish, circa 1950–1970, in the traditional Neapolitan style.
The set includes a male water carrier holding terracotta jugs and a female villager cradling a small piglet. Each figure stands approximately 10 inches tall on wooden bases.
