This is a beautiful vintage soft sculpture doll handmade by Carolyn Padgett in 1983 for the "Remember When" line of dolls dressed in historical costumes. This particular doll reminds me of Anne of Green Gables in the scene where Anne recites a poem at the White Sands Hotel in a white organdy dress. The doll is in good vintage condition with slight yellowing on the dress (although the dress could have originally been off white, not sure). Note that in the 5th picture, there is a wooden stick which either to be connected to a stand or broke off from a stand. I'm leaving it attached in case you have this stand. The doll measures approximately 13 inches high.
