Blacksmith straight peen forging hammer with original wood handle.
The hammer head with a long tapered peen used for drawing out hot steel in traditional forge work.
The handle is factory marked MICH USA indicating a Michigan pattern American made replacement handle.
The head shows age appropriate wear and surface oxidation and appears to be early mid 20th century forged steel.
Great for: blacksmith, farrier shop, tool collectors, rustic decor, restoration projects. Head has patina and wear Handle wedge is cracked but not really loose.
